Power Armor Modifications

This mod changes all the power armor in the game to what I feel is a bit more like how it is described in-game.

Installation

  1. Drag 'Power Armor Tweak.esp' into the data directory in the fallout 3 folder. Usualy that is this directory C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data
  2. Once the file has been placed there, activate it by checking it the data files list in the startup menu.

Changes
Below is a log of the changes that have been made to the power armor.

  • Suits
    All suits of power armor now increases carrying capacity by 50 pounds
    • Power Armor/ Brotherhood Power Armor
      No other changes have been made
    • Prototype Medic Power Armor
      The armor now grants a +2 Strength Bonus. It still grants -1 Agility and 25% Radiation Resistance
    • Enclave Power Armor
      Dr is now 45, the armor's strength bonus is now +2 and radiation resistance has been increased to 25%
      It still grants -1 Agility
    • Tesla Power Armor
      Dr is now 48, the armor gives a +2 Strength Bonus and radiation resistance has been increased to 25%.
      It still grants +10 to energy weapons.
    • T51b Power Armor
      Dr is now 55, the armor grants +3 strength. Radiation Resistance remains at 25%
      (Note the +3 strength and increased carrying capacity will also affect the Winterized T51b Power Armor in Operation Anchorage.
      YOU DO NOT NEED OPERATION ANCORAGE TO USE THIS MOD)
  • Helmets
    All Power Helmets Increases carrying capacity by 5 pounds.
    • Power Armor Helmet / Brotherhood Power Armor Helmet
      No other changes have been made
    • Enclave Power Armor Helmet
      No other changes have been made
    • Tesla Power Armor Helmet
      Dr is now 10 with an additional +5 energy Weapons. It still grants -1 Charisma And 5% radiation Resistance
    • T51b Power Armor Helmet
      Dr is now 13. It still grants +1 Charisma And 8% radiation Resistance

Cyborg Perk Modifications

This mod changes the cyborg perk so it gives bonuses to your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. while still maintaining balance.

Installation

  1. Drag 'Cyborg Upgrade.esp' into the data directory in the fallout 3 folder. Usualy that is this directory C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data
  2. Once the file has been placed there activate it by checking it the data files list in the startup menu.
  3. If you already have the perk in-game you will need to use a consol command to receive the new benefits.
    1. Press ` to open the consol
    2. Type player.removeperk 44CAB
    3. Press enter (this removes the old version of the perk from your character)
    4. Type player.addperk 44CAB
    5. Press enter (although it uses the same code it will tell the game to use the new version of the perk)

Changes
The requirements for the cyborg perk have been upped in order to maintain balance.

  • Requirements
    • Level 14 (same)
    • Endurance 6 (needed to survive and stay functional during the painful operation)
    • Medicine 60 ranks (same)
    • Science 80 ranks (upped from 60, this is extremely advanced technology you’re dealing with)
  • Benefits
    • +1 Agility (new)
    • +1 Endurance (new)
    • +1 Strength (new)
    • +10 Damage Resistance (same)
    • +10 Poison Resistance (same)
    • +10 Radiation Resistance (same)
    • +10 Energy Weapons (same)

Tenacious Plague and Devour Magic Improvments

This is a simple mod that improves the tenacious plague and devour magic invocations.

Installation
Instillation is simple; drag the contents of the folders into your override folder. Do not place the 'Tenacious Plague' and 'Devour Magic' folders into the override, just the contents. They were placed into the folders to allow people who wanted one but not the other to easily tell the difference between the files. Example: if you only want devour magic drag only the contents of the devour magic folder into your override.

Changes
Below is a log of the changes that have been made to the invocations.

  • Tenacious Plague - The tenacious plague invocation now lasts 1 round per caster level and will almost always hit. (This was done by increasing the chance to hit by roughly 1000%)
  • Devour Magic - devour magic still functions the same with the exception that it no longer caps at level 15.
